One of the world’s top bankers has been transferred to a notorious prison in New York, as he fights charges that he sexually assaulted a hotel maid.

IMF boss Dominique Strauss Kahn is in protective custody at Rikers Island jail, to prevent attacks by other inmates, after a judge refused to grant him one million dollars bail.
He could face up to 25 years in jail if he’s convicted.
Meanwhile, the IMF has announced that no decision has been reached over the future of its boss.
