The Ombudsman's office has reported a stark increase in the number of complaints that it has received from residents in Clare.
109 people here raised concerns with the Ombudsman, up from 71 in the previous year.

The annual report, which has been unveiled by Ombudsman Peter Tyndall, also shows the number of complaints against Clare County Council doubled to 44 last year.
However, only six of these were upheld in full while two more were partially upheld.
