The fraud squad has reportedly been asked to investigate finances at the Garda training college.
The force’s Commissioner Nóirín O’Sullivan will be asked by the Public Accounts Committee later if EU funds were used for flights and entertainment for Gardaí.
Today’s Irish Independent also claims that one of the college’s bank accounts was assigned to a former senior officer.
