The Justice Minister Alan Shatter has asked for a report into yesterdays armed robbery and kidnapping in Co Louth.

A postal worker, his wife and young baby were held hostage at their home in Drogheda on Monday night – before he was taken to Drogheda post office on yesterday morning, where over a half a million euro was stolen.
Minister Shatter has requested a report to see if the correct security procedures were followed by An Post.
