Gardai and Irish Rail have launched investigations into an incident which occured along the Ennis-Limerick rail line this afternoon.
It’s believed the incident, which occured at about 3:30, involved a tractor and took place in the vicinity of a level crossing at Ballymorris in Cratloe.

It’s understood that the person involved escaped injury but was left badly shaken.
In June of 2010, a 62-year-old farmer was killed after he was struck by a train on the same line at Ralahine South, Newmarket-on-Fergus.
