Irish backpacker company threatens “Cliffs” pull-out

 

It’s feared the Cliffs of Moher could lose out on over 30,000 tourists a year over it’s controversial new pricing structure.

PaddyWagon Tours – one of the leading Irish backpacker travel companies has described the new 6 euro per adult charge as outrageous and says it won’t bring tours to the cliffs if group rates are proposed in imminent negotiations.

There’s still mixed local reaction to the charges, which are described as family friendly as children will go free, but there’s no provision for groups of adults or regular local visitors.

78% of people surveyed on the Clare-dot-FM website feel the charges are excessive, and these locals had mixed views
