Work stoppages at Irish Rail have been called off after marathon talks at the Labour Relations Commission.
Management and unions last night agreed to a revised set of proposals which will address "all key issues" at the company.

The company will hold off on pay cuts for 3 weeks to allow a ballot of workers – while the strikes due to take place next Sunday, Monday and the 21st of September won't go ahead.
