The house of a North Clare GP bequeathed to the ISPCA has realised 190 thousand euro for the animal charity.
Dr Maura Lernihan bequeathed her home in Lisdoonvarna to the society before she died in August 2007.
The property was initially put on the market for 350 thousand two years ago and then last April it was withdrawn from auction when it failed to attract a single bid and the society had considered putting it up for raffle.
