Clare’s set to for a jobs boost as a Shannon based specialised electronics company completes the acquisition of a UK firm.
Tekeleck Group – which provides level sensing and tank monitoring solutions for oil, fuel and water has just taken control of a small design based company Ingenion Design near Cambridge with a 2 million euro expansion planned.
Founded in 1995 by Liscannor native Peter McCarthy , Tekeleck employs nearly 30 people in the Shannon Free Zone and at sister plant in Sixmilebridge – Forcefield Active Technology.
Peter McCarthy- who’s also the managing director says the takeover of the UK firm is good news for the Shannon plant with new jobs expected to be created over the next two years due to the new markets the acquisition will open up for the Clare company.
