The Jobs and Enterprise Minister has welcomed the news that the ODCE’s investigation into Anglo Irish Bank is nearly complete.
The Director of Corporate Enforcement Paul Appleby’s office has now sent 9 extensive files to the DPP.

The investigation is looking at loans to directors, the bank’s financial statements and transactions between Anglo and Irish Life and Permanent.
The Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation is also looking into Anglo Irish Bank.
