His body was found in Thompson’s Lane, behind Supermacs on the night of Saturday May 4th, and despite Garda contact with family members of his in the Czech Republic, no one has claimed his body for burial in his native country.

Addressing mourners at his removal to Ennis Cathedral last night, Father Ger Fitzgerald described the 52 year old as being  among the poorest of the poor and is “ remembered with love here”.

Mr. Pavelka will be laid to rest in Drumcliffe Cemetery, following 10 o’clock Funeral mass this morning.
