The Junior Health Minister says she was only told about the planned 130 million euro cuts to the HSE an hour before they were announced.
Roisin Shortall says there was ‘poor communication’ between herself and the Minister for Health prior to last Thursday’s announcement.

Minister Shortall says she’s pleased the Government has now reversed its plans to cut personal assistance hours for the disabled.
But she says she only received an hour’s notice before the cuts were made public.
