Jurors considering closing arguments in the Jason Corbett murder trial in North Carolina can now consider an alternative verdict.
Molly Martens-Corbett and her father Thomas Martens both deny the second degree murder of the Limerick businessman in 2015.
However the jury may now also consider a lesser charge.
