Justice Minister Says Meeting With Nugent Family Over Clyne Report To Take Place Next Week

The Minister for Justice says officials from her Department are to hold a meeting with the family of Patrick Nugent next week to discuss the findings of a report into his death in 1984.

The Sixmilebridge native was working as banqueting manager in Bunratty Castle when he lost his life.

The jury at his inquest later ruled he had been accidentally hit by a car after he had been struck by a person or persons unknown, though no one has been convicted in relation to his death.
