The Justice Minister is to make a statement in the Dail tonight on the Mick Wallace controversy.
Alan Shatter has found himself in hot water after revealing the Independent TD benefited from Garda discretion by avoiding penalty points.

Yesterday Minister Shatter said he received the information at a Garda briefing and that he felt he had a duty to make the disclosure.
He’ll make a full statement on the issue to the Dail this evening – followed by a question and answer session.
