Clare’s cabinet member says he’s confident that Fianna Fail’s poor poll performance won’t translate to a massacre of the party’s TDs in next year’s General Election.
Defence Minister and Kilnaboy TD Tony Kileen made the comment after a poll last week put Fianna Fail’s support at 13%, a record low for the party, and a result which has put them in an embarrassing fourth position behind Sinn Fein.

However, Minister Kileen feels this same result won’t be seen when the public go to the polls.
He says he’s confident that an election campaign will favour the party
