Kilkee Library is set to benefit from a million euro investment.
The Sweeney Memorial Library in the West Clare town will undergo a one million euro refurbishment, set to commence in the coming weeks.
Along with a new library facility, the contract provides for an upgrade of the library’s theatre and exhibition space and new multifunction areas.

Clare County Council engaged local contractors L&M Keating to undertake the project, which is due for completion by the end of next year.
Vice Mayor of Kilkee Elaine Haugh Hayes says it’s very welcome news for the entire area.
