The death has occurred of Kilkishen parish priest Fr. Diarmuid McCormick
The 77 year old died in the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick yesterday, following a short illness.
The Clonlara native was educated at St. Flannan’s College, Ennis, and having served the early part of his career in England, he returned to Ireland in 1983.

The former curate of Castleconnell, County Limerick was appointed to Kilkishen in 2000, where he remained until his recent illness.
