Representatives of the Killaloe electoral area are to hold a joint meeting with North Tipperary Councillors today, at which a proposed new link between the town and Ballina will be discussed.
It’s proposed that a new bridge will be built to divert traffic away from Killaloe town centre, while councillors are also set to seek other infrastructural improvements.
Local councillor Cathal Crowe feels that the bridge, if built, would be of great benefit to businesses in Killaloe
