Killaloe Gardai are continuing their investigation into a fatal house fire in the area this past weekend.
The victim, named locally as Mike Kennedy, died after a blaze broke out at a home on Grange Road, Ballina, Co. Tipperary in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Two women managed to escape the blaze, but the 53-year-old Mr Kennedy was trapped inside.

The scene of the fire was preserved to allow for a technical examination to be carried out while the Office of the State Pathologist was also notified.
