Gardaí in Kilrush are reporting significant strides in the fight against home burglaries and theft in West Clare.
Following a recent rise in the number of break-ins to local houses and theft incidents, the local Garda force are confident they’ve now caught the main culprits and are satisfied the situation is improving.

Their progress came following investigations aided by CCTV footage and information from members of the public.
Kilrush Superintendent Gerry Wall is pleased with their success to date and is confident that many burglaries can be prevented with additional security measures by local residents
