Gardai in Kilrush are calling on parents to assist them in the prevention of underage drinking.
Officers in West Clare have issued a warning about the inherent dangers of alcohol, particularly with regards to minors, and say it’s a matter that requires constant vigilance.

Parents are being urged to consider storing their own alcoho under lock and key, while Gardai are also asking for the public to alert them if they know alcohol is being sold to people who are underage.
