A bail application for Kilrush man Brendan O’Sullivan is finally expected to be heard in the High Court today.
The 24 year old who’s charged with murdering Leslie Kenny at O’Gorman’s Street in the West Clare town on July 29th, will be in court for the hearing.
He’s remained in custody since the date Mr Kenny was shot dead in the front garden of a house on the outskirts of Kilrush
A bail application for Brendan O’Sullivan was set to be heard at the High Court last Monday but defence solicitor for the 24 year old of 10 O’Gorman Street Kilrush told Ennis District Court on the same date that the application wouldn’t be heard until today.
Patrick Moylan then told the court that his client would be in Dublin for the hearing.
The solicitor said Mr O’Sullivan had been in custody in Limerick Prison but was being transferred to Cloverhill in Dublin ahead of the High Court application.
Following today’s hearing the 24 year old is due back before Ennis District Court this day week.
