Emergency lifeboat crew members are being sought by the Kilrush branch of the RNLI.
The organisation has put a call out for volunteers who are based close by and would be available at a moment’s notice.
Though they’re seeking volunteers for both land and water based crews, the priority now is for the lifeboats and full training is provided.
