The Fine Gael Party has selected two new candidates to contest the local elections in the Kilrush Municipal District.
The Party’s Executive Council has confirmed that Kilrush Town Councilor and local businesswoman Marian McMahon-Jones will contest the local elections to Clare County Council next May along with Gerard Kennedy from Corofin, who’s worked with the Clare Local Development Company for many years.
Local Fine Gael delegates had already selected sitting Councilors Oliver Garry from Kildysart, Bill Slattery of Lahinch and Gabriel Keating of Cross for the new Kilrush District.
