County Clare’s newest senior officer takes up his post in Kilrush today.
Superintendent Seamus Nolan – who comes from the Limerick Division- assumes the role vacated by Gerry Wall who has been transferred to a new position in County Kildare.

Following the recent merger of the Kilrush and Ennistymon Districts, the Newquay native will have the responsibility of overseeing policing in large parts of West and North Clare.
