The Clare couple which won half a million euro on last Friday’s Euromillions Plus draw have collected their prize.
The couple, who wish to remain anonymous, struck lucky after buying a quick-pick ticket at Loughville Motors on the Lahinch Road in Ennis last Friday.
Speaking after they collected their cheque at Lottery Headquarters in Dublin yesterday, the couple said they were speechless when they realised they had won the prize, and say they intend to use the money for a long holiday
