Large crowds are set to descend on Spancil Hill today for the world famous annual horse fair.
The traditional event has been held for over 300 years with plenty of wheeling and dealing expected to take place.

Over the next few days, visitors from at home and abroad are expected to make their way to the Clare town for horse-trading, family fun events and just to soak up the atmosphere.
Superintendent Brendan Mc Donagh of Ennis Garda Station says there will be traffic restrictions in force during the course of the event.
