The father of the late Laura Brennan is calling on the HSE to show action rather than words after the cancellation of the administration of a number of second doses of the HPV vaccine.
Correspondence to the health service showing scheduled vaccinations being cancelled, without a new date being provided, have been widely shared on social media.
It’s understood a number of staff have been redeployed as a result of COVID-19.
The Brennan family have met with the HSE to share their concerns, while the health service insists maintaining a high uptake of the vaccination and honouring Laura Brennan’s legacy remain very important to them.
Laura’s father Larry says they are still looking for clarity from the HSE on a number of issues.
