A lifeguard has rescued two people who lost control of their jet ski on the water at Lough Derg.
The Killaloe Coast Guard was alerted to the incident at Two Mile Gate last evening when the jet skiiers fell from the motor, which had no kill cord as an emergency stop.
The on-duty life guard swam to their rescue and the owner managed to gain control of the ski.

The coast guard is urging anyone taking to the water to ensure they’ve the appropriate safety measures in place on their vehicles.
