The 25 year old woman who plunged to her death in Limerick yesterday fell from the same city centre apartment building that previously claimed the life of a Clare teenager.
In September 2005, Michael McNamara from Meelick fell from a drainpipe on the building and onto the railings below.
Its believed he had forgotten his keys and was trying to gain access to the premises when the drainpipe gave way.
The 19 year old managed to free himself from the railings but died a short time later.
Investigations meanwhile are ongoing into yesterday’s incident.
Audrey Ann Coffey from Fedamore in Limerick was visiting a friend when she fell from the top floor window of the five storey building.
