It is understood intensive efforts are being made to recruit additional nurses to deal with recent staff shortages.
The HSE has also agreed interim rosters, with the main nursing unions the INMO and SIPTU.
The Workplace Relations Commission has agreed to reconvene both sides on Monday, May 9th, to review progress.
