A Lisdoonvarna-based councillor believes COVID-19 may present the local authority here with a ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity to rejuvenate rural Clare.

Clare County Council is currently considering its County Development Plan from 2022 to 2028, which they say will contain a variety of objectives to support the development of towns and villages here.
