The Office of the Garda Ombudsman has confirmed that an overnight crash on the Main Ennis to Kilrush Road has been referred to its office.
A teenager’s being treated in hospital for a number of injuries including a punctured lung after the single car collision at Caherea, Lissycasey.

It happened at around 3 am shortly after Gardaí from Ennis were investigating reports of a stolen car travelling on the N85.
