Water tankers will be in operation in Ennis and Shannon towns today and tomorrow from 12 noon until 4-30 pm to supply water to householders who are without a cold water supply to their homes.
Routes are currently being finalised and tankers will be based at housing developments where water supply is absent.
Consumers should note that the water will need to be boiled before consumption.
The following areas in Ennis are being serviced:
Kilrush Road
Tulla Road
Gort Road and the Church car Park in Clarecastle
In Shannon the water tanker will be at the Old Lodge Public house at 12pm
at 1-30 it will be at St john nad Paul’s church
At 3pm it will be at Wolfe Tones gaa club grounds and at 4-30 it will be in the forecourt of the firestation while at 6pm the tanker will be in the Drumdeeley shooping centre.
