The Cliffs of Moher looks set to offer a local pass or discounted entry to the people of Clare following controversy over new pricing structures.
Clare County Council has said a scheme for regular local visitors to the Cliffs will be announced soon as councillors called for more positive representation of North Clare’s world famous attraction.
However concerns have been raised about falling visitor numbers and losses of over 500,000 Euro at the Cliffs of Moher Visitor experience since it was developed, and one Shannon Councillor has expressed grave fears for it’s future.
Gerry Flynn is concerned about the council’s interest in the project and even suggested NAMA may have to get involved
