It’s hoped local producers will be the driving force behind a new dedicated community market in Kilkee.
Land has been acquired for the new market, which is part of efforts to boost footfall on weekdays and during off-peak times, as a counter-balance to the over-reliance on evening and weekend visitor flows.
Kilkee Enterprise Development Company, a social enterprise set up by Kilkee Chamber of Commerce is holding an information night on Wednesday next from 7pm at the Stella Marris Hotel to gauge local interest.
