Filming will resume next month on a major TV production which is being filmed in Lahinch.
Filming for Smother, which is a six-part investigative thriller that RTÉ and BBC are co-producting, got underway in February, but just five weeks in the pandemic hit, which halted production.
It’s hoped that they’ll be in a position to start filming again from September 7th for a longer period then originally planned, as social distancing measures are put in place.

Producer Rebecca O’Flanagan says they’re hoping to hire people from the local community who are intereseted in getting involved in the film industry.
