While the people of Clare voted for 51 different candidates this year, there was no doubting your Number One for the local elections.
This weekend saw nearly 60,000 people click onto our live blog on clare.fm, predominantly from here in Ireland, but also from the likes of the UK, US, Spain, France, Portugal, Switzerland, New Zealand, the Philippines, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
Tens of thousands more tuned into the station’s more-than 16 hours of live coverage from the Count Centre at Treacy’s West County Hotel, both on air and online.

While on social media, a total audience of 435,000 were kept up to date by the Banner County’s Number One Station.
