It is claimed the temporary closure of a Loop Head Gaelcholáiste will result in 100 thousand euro in losses for the local economy.
Coláiste Eoghain Ui Chomhraidhe, which is the college of its kind in Clare, will be unable to take students until it addresses concerns flagged by a fire safety inspection.
Though it will remain closed for July, the college’s operators are hopeful of addressing the issues in time for their August intake.
