It’s the last day of the season for the Loop Head Lighthouse.
The 19th century landmark has become a popular tourist attraction since it opened to the public last year, and the opening of a new interpretative exhibition at the Lighthouse by Taoiseach Enda Kenny earlier this year helped to attract significant visitor number this summer.
