The Labour Relations Commission is intervening in the dispute involving Aer Lingus cabin crew, and the future of their base at Shannon Airport.
Members of the IMPACT trade union yesterday voted by 91 per cent in favour of industrial action up to and including strike, but the LRC has now invited both the trade union and Aer Lingus management to hold talks on Friday.

Earlier, the trade union had called for Aer Lingus to enter into further negotiations with workers.
