An investment of 3.5 million euro has been completed at Cahercalla Nursing Home.

The well known Clare institution is currently home to 108 residents but can cater for 111.
It's been in operation since the 60s and the renovations bring it in line with current HIQA standards.
CEO Paula O'Halloran says the works have been planned for several years.
