Clare motorists are being warned of delays on the county’s busiest roads due to roadworks underway from this week.
Surface rehabilitation works began on on the N18 Limerick-Ennis Road yesterday, and will result in lane closures in both directions between the junctions of R471 Sixmilebridge and Bunratty East.

The works are expected to last for 10 to 12 weeks.
Motorists travelling to and from Bunratty are also being alerted to further disruption there – access to and from the N18 Northbound will be closed from Sunday the 29th, and diversions will be in place.
