A major jobs boost is expected for Shannon today, with over 100 new positions on their way to a Clare based American Financial security company.
Genworth Financial is to announce plans to create 117 new jobs in the Shannon Free Zone over the next 3 years.

The Enterprise Minister Batt O’Keeffe will visit Shannon to confirm the good news, though he’s also expected to face questions on the rising unemployment problem in County Clare with 10,400 people now signing on.
