A major cycling event for Clare which could provide a one million Euro tourism boost for the county will be launched today.
Plans for The É-tap Hibernia cycle will be unveiled later today and the event in August is expected to begin near Ennis-travel to North and West Clare and return to Clare’s County Town.
The organisers IMG,which held a similar event in Scotland expects to draw in 2000 participants and will work closely with Shannon Development, Clare County Council and Failte Ireland on the cycle.
