A man in his 20's has been arrested after a fatal collision in Loughrea on Wednesday night.
It happened on the Gort Road in the town at around half past eight.

A cyclist, 68 year old John White of St Laurences Field in Loughrea, died shortly after the collision at University College Hospital in Galway.
The man who's been arrested is being held at Loughrea Garda station – it's understood that he presented himself voluntarily to Gardaí.
