A 26-year-old man has been charged in connection with an a hit and run incident in South-East Clare which saw two pensioners injured, with one of them losing a leg.
Michael Sheehan of Cliona Park Moyross Limerick has been charged with dangerous driving causing harm in relation to a the alleged incident which occured at Parteen on September 25th last.

Mr Sheehan was charged with a total of 11 counts in relation to incidents on the same date during a hearing at Limerick District Court yesterday.
He was remanded in continuing custody.
