Gardai in Galway have launched an investigation after a man died following an assault at a bar in the city.
It's understood the man – who was 60 and from Galway – suffered a suspected heart attack following an alleged assault at Crowe's Bar on Bohermore in the early hours of this morning.

He was taken to University Hospital Galway where he died at 8 o'clock this morning.
A post mortem will be carried out later.
A 52 year old man is being questioned by Gardai in connection with the incident – after he presented himself to Mill Street Garda station this morning.
