A pedestrian involved in a road collision in East Clare over the weekend has died in hospital.
Pat Lynch of Cullane, Kilmurray was struck by a car in the townland of Ballyblood on the Tulla to Kilkishen road at around quarter to twelve on Friday night.
The 48 year old suffered serious head injuries and was rushed to Limerick Regional Hospital where he passed away overnight.

The late Pat Lynch is survived by his sixteen year old daughter, relatives and friends.
Gardai are investigating his death and are appealing for any witnesses who have not yet come forward to contact Scarriff or Killaloe garda stations.
